"Ali Paige" is a portrait of this artist's Great neice. The portrait is a study in the art of drawing children and was completed in May of 2006. "Ali Paige" utilizes a "stipple effect" for light and shadow throughout the majority of the drawing. The hair in this rendering is done using line art techniques with contrasting dark and light effects.

The work took approximately 12 hours to complete and measures about 8 x 10 inches on an 11 x 14 background.
